Freight Coordinator

Mancan is looking for Freight Coordinator for a Local Medina manufactuing company.

This is a 1st Shift – 6:00am – 2:00pm pay rate $18 -$20/hr.

The Freight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics for a company's products. They work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

• Plan, implement and manage transportation strategies, policies, and procedures
• Manage daily transportation operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight consolidation
• Ensure all shipments are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams and customers
• Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and production, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers
• 3+ years of experience in transportation and logistics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Detail-oriented and organized

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background
