Wire Aisle​/Warehouse Associate

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, TBD

Pay: $18/hr

• Custom cut and spool wire according to customer orders
• Provide general maintenance of material and wire area
• Transfers heavy or light but bulky items by hand from inventory into pipe carts
• Put incoming or returned items from shipping dock into stock using overhead crane
• Understands the different types of pipes and is proficient in working with them
• Keep work area in neat and clean condition
• Stock wire, keep track and handle inventory
• Willing to be cross trained for duties in other warehouse areas, including will call, order picking, shipping, receiving, and cash window
• Attaches accurate identifying tags, labels, or information markings to pipe, sheet metal, or other containers/material Fabrication of pipe to specific lengths utilizing ban saw and thread pipe as need
• Ability to plan jobs in order of importance while following mandatory timelines
• Use RF scanner to identify items when putting away or picking inventory
• Properly complete any paperwork associated with work activity
• Make sure product is prepped and secure for safe travel
• Help manage inventory as using proper procedures and technology
• Safely uses all equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, overhead crane, cutting machines, bar code readers, carts, conveyors, doors, gates, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous warehouse experience preferred, not required
• Forklift experience preferred, not required

• Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
