Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics

Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Opportunity

The Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics is a working leader who plays a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and with a strong customer focus. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll oversee logistics and transportation while supporting receiving, shipping, inventory flow, and order fulfillment. This is not a desk-only role. You’ll be on the floor, in the yard, and alongside your team, helping solve problems, setting expectations, and ensuring our customers receive accurate, on-time service.

Strong people leadership is essential—your ability to coach, develop, and support employees will directly impact our success.

What You’ll Do Lead from the Front
  • Work side by side with warehouse and delivery teams to get the job done
  • Build a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture
  • Coach, develop, and evaluate employees through regular feedback and performance reviews
  • Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, staffing plans, and performance management
  • Approve timecards, attendance, PTO, and overtime
Run the Day-to-Day Logistics Operation
  • Plan, prioritize, and adjust daily work to meet customer commitments
  • Manage drivers, routes, and transportation activities
  • Ensure compliance with DOT/ODOT regulations, including pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Address delivery challenges, route changes, and driver concerns in real time
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Fleet Maintenance, and Operations to support customer needs
Serve Our Customers
  • Support the warehouse team in delivering accurate, timely, and professional service
  • Troubleshoot transportation and delivery issues with urgency and ownership
  • Reinforce the importance of customer service in every role and task
Drive Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure receiving, shipping, staging, and inventory standards are consistently met
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and workflow
  • Match work assignments to employee strengths and development goals
Train, Support & Keep Everyone Safe
  • Oversee onboarding and training for warehouse and delivery employees
  • Ensure drivers complete required training programs
  • Promote and enforce safety standards and proper incident reporting
  • Monitor equipment condition and elevate concerns promptly
Communicate & Collaborate
  • Stay closely connected with site leadership and supervisors throughout the day
  • Review operational and quality reports and take timely action
  • Document site-specific procedures and support company initiatives
  • Travel occasionally for meetings, training, or special projects
  • Flex schedule as business needs require
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Familiarity with DOT/ODOT regulations and CDL requirements
  • Experience with TMS and warehouse management systems preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams through hands-on, day-to-day engagement
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Regular lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and hands-on warehouse activity
  • Use of computers and handheld devices
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision
