Toy Library Volunteer-Various Days/Times Kwinana
City Of Kwinana - Public Library – Medina WA
We are looking for volunteers to meet and greet and assist with the Toy Library collection. You must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the role - lifting and carrying light loads. Various shifts available. We are looking for a friendly and helpful person, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
In this role you will be required to work collaboratively with and take direction from Library staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening and closing of the Toy Library.
- Check and clean items on return, reuniting missing pieces, and checking for damaged items.
- Passing on any feedback from the customer, including requests for particular items.
- Promote use of Toy Library to Library visitors and explain borrowing and returning processes.
