Learning Club Volunteers - Based in Kwinana/Rockingham

Numeracy Learning Club tutors support students to improve their maths and general numeracy skills using a range of supplied numeracy‑based activities.
Literacy Learning Club tutors support students to improve their reading and general literacy skills using a range of supplied literacy‑based activities.
Volunteer Learning Club Tutor RoleThe role offers the opportunity to use and enhance tutoring and relationship skills alongside other passionate team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist students to complete homework tasks
- Assist students in developing skills and knowledge in particular subject areas through structured activities
- Model and encourage appropriate behavioural standards and build positive relationships with students
- Set up and pack (tables, chairs, resources, fruit, etc.)
- Liaise with the Club Coordinator on students' support needs and progress

CommitmentRegular – more than 6 months

Time Required2:45 pm – 4:30 pm during school term. Varies days, located in Kwinana and Rockingham
