Position: WesCEF Chemical/Process Engineering Vacation Program - 2026/2027

WesCEF Chemical/Process Engineering Vacation Program – 2026/2027

Turn theory into practice through a 12‑week paid vacation program starting in late November 2026.

Program Highlights

The program is available to students in the penultimate year of Chemical or Process Engineering studies and includes:

  • Hands‑on experience at one of WesCEF’s production facilities in Kwinana.
  • Dedicated mentoring, training and commercial skill development.
  • Opportunities to work on projects that directly impact business operations and present outcomes to leadership.
  • Possibility of a cadetship through the final year of university, offering a pathway into the graduate program.
Responsibilities
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to real‑world engineering challenges.
  • Develop safety, commercial, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Implement and improve technical processes within a practical engineering environment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and fellow vacation students.
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations to the leadership team.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in the penultimate year of a Chemical or Process Engineering degree.
  • Strong commercial and safety focus.
  • Attention to detail and well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Passion for engineering and a collaborative attitude.
