Interim High School Principal – Medway Public Schools – Medway, Massachusetts

Medway Public Schools is seeking an experienced and proven educational leader to serve as its Interim High School Principal for the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

Medway High School is a high‑performing, student‑centered learning community serving approximately 575 students in grades 9–12. Known for its strong academic program, inclusive culture, and deep sense of community, MHS offers a wide range of opportunities for students to challenge themselves through open‑access Advanced Placement courses, five Innovation Career Pathways, and robust arts, athletics, and extracurricular programs.

• Supervise the operation and management of the school and school property under the direction of the Superintendent.
• Make employment decisions regarding teachers, instructional or administrative aides, and other personnel assigned to the school, subject to supervisory staff and district policies.
• Organize, support, and provide a learning environment conducive to the maximum educational growth of each student.

• Certification as a high school principal in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of seven years educational leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in staff and curriculum development.
• Minimum of a master’s degree in educational administration or a related field.
• Administrative and/or supervisory experience.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable with Superintendent or School Committee approval.

One‑year interim contract for the 2026–2027 Academic Year. Salary range $152,000–$177,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications, plus a generous benefits package.
