About the Position Performance Responsibilities
  • Serve as the district’s Medication Program Manager, providing oversight of medication administration practices, developing and maintaining required policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts regulations, and coordinating required training and competency requirements for school personnel.
  • Assists with the preparation, dissemination, implementation, and evaluation of all school health services programs and associated goals and objectives.
  • Advises the superintendent and student services regarding the needs of the schools with respect to health services.
  • Oversees the preparation, maintenance and submission of all records and reports pertaining to school health services as may be required from time to time by school committee and superintendent, as well as federal, state and local agencies.
  • Conducts meetings to keep school nurses informed of policy changes, new programs and related matters when appropriate.
