TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Sandblast Operator team is primarily responsible for efficient and effective production. The operator must produce product in conformance with adherence to the Quality Management System, operate a wide variety of Sandblasting machines, conduct quality checks using fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices, maintain housekeeping and organize the work area, and follow TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

• Operate a wide variety of Sandblasting machines.
• Perform routine or repetitive operations consistently meeting quality requirements and production standards.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Work from drawings and/or specifications as well as Traveler instructions.
• Evaluate job performance compared to established production and quality standards.
• Make suggestions for new fixtures and improvements to processes to enhance operations.
• Maintain files for set‑up procedures and required tooling to manufacture parts to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks using fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices.
• Lubricate and clean machines as necessary.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, work safely, and comply with all established safety rules and work practices.
• Comply with company, department, and quality policies and procedures as applicable.
• Keep Operations Manager informed of job‑related problems and other information related to work activity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and promote a “team” approach throughout the Department.
• Perform multiple operations as required.
• Perform related work as apparent or assigned.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• 6 months to 2 years of Sandblasting experience in a job shop environment or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

• Physical demands:
  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arm, balance, stoop, talk or hear, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
