CNC Machinist | 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Medway manufacturing team. This is a second shift position (3pm – 11:30pm) and involves setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high‑quality components that meet customer and engineering specifications.

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machines as needed to optimize production and quality.
• Operate and maintain Okuma and Haas CNC machining equipment.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to ensure efficient production.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Okuma and Haas CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
• Team members must be able to safely bend, kneel, and maintain balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 10lbs consistently.
• Effective communication, hearing, and visual assessment skills to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.
• Work may be performed in temperature‑variable, non climate‑controlled settings.

Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 10lbs consistently. Must perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and grip for extended periods.

Compensation Range: $16.30 – $30.20 per hour. Employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
