Job Full Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Inspector to join our dynamic production team.
Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/hr based on experience
Schedule: (Mon-Fri) 8am to 4:30pm (negotiable)
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards to ensure adherence to quality management systems.
- Review manufacturing documentation and data collection records to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for process enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and CGMP guidelines during all inspection activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments to guarantee measurement precision and reliability.
- Proven experience in manufacturing inspection or quality control within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency with calibration tools including calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems; experience with coordinate measuring machines is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data collected during inspections and audits.
- Familiarity with quality management software and QA/QC procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections using vision inspection systems and other precision measuring instruments.
