Shipping & Receiving Associate
Kelly Services is partnering with a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
- Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
Qualifications:
- 2 year experience operating a forklift or pallet jack
- Familiarity with forklift controls and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good verbal communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy material
