Job Description:

The Missile Solutions Segment of L3

Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support our functional segment executive leadership team at our Headquarters in Melbourne, FL. The Senior Executive Assistant is a key member of the team, providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the department and the site. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling meetings, proactively managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation and editing of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the implementation of office policies and procedures and assist in monitoring compliance.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external events, including high-level visits, conferences, site tours, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Process expense reports and invoices and assist with budget tracking and financial record-keeping.
  • Serve as a liaison between the leadership team and other internal teams, as well as external partners and vendors while maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Perform data entry and maintain databases, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of information.
  • Support general office duties, including ordering and stocking of office supplies, drinks, food, and snacks in support of site operations/meetings/routine business.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties assigned by leaders.
  • Up to 15% business travel to support L3

    Harris events and VIP visits as needed.
  • Weekly compensated overtime may be required as this is a non-exempt position.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant administrative experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related administrative experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Zoom).
  • 2+ years experience as Senior Executive Assistant required.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively through frequent interruptions and critical time constraints.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration, Concur/SAP, ARIBA and Envoy preferred.
  • Prior Aerospace & Defense Industry experience.
  • Demonstrate high level of maturity and confidentiality relating to sensitive information; to include maintaining sensitive documents/files for leaders.
  • Effectively work as a team member; successfully establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
