Our client, a government office dedicated to public service and community support, is seeking a Seasonal Mail Ballot Assistant to join their team from July 7th-July 16th on a short term project. As a Mail Ballot Tech II, you will be an essential part of the Elections Department, supporting the smooth operation of election processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to public service, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Seasonal Mail Ballot Assistant
Location: Melbourne, FL
Pay Rate: $15.50 hourly
Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Assist with mail ballot processing and distribution to voters
- Provide exceptional customer service to voters and the public
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries accurately and professionally
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and election data
- Support election department projects and workload as needed
What's Needed?
- Clerical experience in a public service or business environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry
- Ability to work with multi-line phone systems and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a registered voter in Florida and possess a valid Florida Driver’s License
