Position Title:
Administrative Support Specialist – College wide Security, Melbourne (Re‑Advertised)
Melbourne Campus, Melbourne, FL
Salary & BenefitsHourly rate: $16.00. Up to 28 hours per week. Eligible for regular part‑time benefits (vacation, life insurance, etc.).
Position ConceptPerforms administrative support and clerical functions for the Chief of College wide Security in coordination of functions, programs, and initiatives under the direction of the Chief.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Five years of related office management, administrative, and/or clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Access, and Excel.
- Exceptional customer service skills and attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a very busy office setting.
- Professional image with attention to detail, efficiency, and confidentiality.
- Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.
- Review of social media activity will be part of the evaluation process.
- Successful fingerprinting required; candidate chosen will pay a non‑refundable fee of $36.00.

- Official transcripts for all collegiate work (if applicable) must be sent directly from the institution to the Human Resources Office before the first day of employment. Foreign degrees require a course‑by‑course evaluation and translation from an accredited company.
