Our client is an established construction and electrical contracting firm delivering industrial, government, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout Florida.
They are seeking a Construction Operations Manager to lead project delivery, financial performance, and team development across a portfolio of multi-trade construction projects. This role offers significant autonomy, P&L ownership, and the opportunity to help grow an expanding General Contracting business.
Responsibilities- Lead multiple concurrent construction projects ranging from $500K to $10M+.
- Oversee scheduling, procurement, subcontractors, permitting, and site execution.
- Coordinate multi-trade teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain responsibility for project financials, including forecasting, job costing, cash flow, and margin performance.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and subcontractor relationships.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and Coordinators.
- Support pre-construction planning, bid strategy, and client relationship management.
- Experience managing projects within a General Contractor, Prime Contractor, Construction Management, or Electrical Contracting environment.
- Proven success leading multi-trade construction projects.
- Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Industrial, government, infrastructure, or large commercial project experience.
- Background in electrical construction, power distribution, switch gear, generators, or critical power systems.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Military or veteran-affiliated background is considered an asset.
