Project Manager - Construction

Job Details / Responsibilities:
Establish project goals, priorities, and execution strategies in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders Lead project planning activities from preconstruction through project closeout Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting tools Coordinate activities between Operations, Preconstruction, Accounting, Safety, and other internal departments Conduct project meetings, owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and coordination meetings Support staffing plans and provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for Project Engineers and other assigned personnel Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, communication, and project success Oversee construction operations including RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, document control, quality control, and material delivery Manage subcontractor relations, contracts, purchase orders, and closeout processes Handle financial and risk management including project buy-out, budget management, cost reporting, change order negotiation, and insurance compliance Serve as key liaison between field operations, office operations, clients, architects, consultants, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8–10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or related field preferred Strong track record leading commercial projects through full lifecycle (preconstruction to closeout) Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships Excellent technical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and support company culture and values
