Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Piper Companies is seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative for a leading biotechnology client in the Melbourne, FL area. The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers, patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams and will be responsible for conducting insurance verifications, processing and maintaining customer records in Salesforce, managing renewals, generating reports, and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of documentation.

• Conduct insurance benefit investigations and eligibility verifications to support patient access and product services.
• Process, review, and maintain customer, patient, and account documentation within Salesforce and other company systems.
• Manage customer renewals, ensuring all required documentation is received, reviewed, and processed accurately and on time.
• Generate, analyze, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports to support operational and business needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with sales, reimbursement, operations, and clinical support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Follow up on incomplete documentation and communicate requirements to customers and internal stakeholders.

• 2+ years of customer service, healthcare, clinical, medical, biotech, pharmaceutical, or related experience.
• Experience conducting insurance verifications and handling healthcare-related documentation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements
• Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting and data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Salary:
  Between $19.00 - $26.00/hr based on years of relevant experience
