Architectural Designer

Full-time hourly - IN OFFICE ONLY - This is NOT a remote position

MelD Studio Architecture is looking for a creative individual with 3-5 years of REVIT Experience to join our team in office as an Architectural Designer. The responsibilities of the Architectural Designer include developing construction sets, coordinating with project lead and engineering subcontractors, meeting with clients, adjusting and creating designs/layouts, and complying with industry regulations (Florida Building Code, Florida Fire Prevention Code, etc.).

Candidates should have excellent technical skills and be proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT software. Additionally, good communication, customer service skills, and creative problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Prepare architectural construction drawings and specifications
• Gather the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts.
• Use AutoCAD and REVIT to produce architectural plans for management and client approval.
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently in various stages of design.
• Rework and modify designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
• Provide management with estimates of anticipated design duration.
• Interact with other Architects and Designers to exchange ideas and provide support.
• Ensure all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained.

• 3-5 years of experience in a professional architectural setting.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing construction drawings with REVIT software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Construction Process is a plus.
• Strong creative design and time management skills.
• Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good lateral thinking and logical design sensibilities.
