Position Overview
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Science (BES) at Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in the Biomedical Science Program with a start date of August 2026.
Responsibilities- Commit to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program.
- Contribute to the institution and the profession through service.
- Maintain an allocation of duties: 40% teaching, 40% research, 20% service.
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Science or a closely related field.
- Research interests and expertise aligned with our majors in Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, and Biomedical Sciences.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and to developing a strong research program.
