The School of Arts & Communication is seeking part‑time adjuncts to teach Communication courses in our program. Florida Institute of Technology invites applicants for part‑time adjunct faculty positions in the School of Arts and Communications for the 2025–2026 semesters and beyond. Positions are located in Melbourne, Florida.
Disciplines- English – composition & rhetoric, writing about literature, and basic English writing
- Communication – science & technical communication, business & professional communication, and speech
- Humanities – history, literature, art history, philosophy; specialists in African American Studies will also be considered
Teach undergraduate sections in your area of expertise.
Qualifications- A minimum of a Master of Arts degree in the subject area or related field
- Preferred: previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level in a classroom setting; 18 hours of coursework in the field of teaching
- Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to Human Resources before the first day of employment
- All international degrees must have a course‑by‑course official evaluation and translation sent directly from an evaluation company affiliated with NACES
- Required certification or license must be uploaded when submitting application for employment
