Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Melbourne, FL for an EMS Instructor. The EMS Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in emergency medical services programs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and delivering lectures, conducting practical training sessions, assessing student performance, and staying updated with the latest practices in EMS education. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development and participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Experience and skill in EMS Education and Medicine
- Certification as a Paramedic and by the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
- Knowledge and experience in Prehospital Care
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to teach and mentor students effectively
- Additional certifications or degrees in related fields are advantageous
