Brass Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Brass Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons for beginner to advanced students in our retail store. You will develop individualized lesson plans, teach brass fundamentals, technique, and music theory, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. Collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support student progress, recommend instruments and accessories, and promote music education in the community.

Maintain accurate scheduling and lesson records while fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create and adjust individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Teach brass performance fundamentals, technique, and music theory
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and educators about progress
• Collaborate with store staff and school reps to support music education initiatives
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials
• Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and lesson records
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Uphold Music & Arts' standards for student-focused, service-driven instruction
