The AMT is primarily responsible for accomplishing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting aircraft launches and recoveries as well as limited line service duties. This position also entails providing other repair and maintenance support as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Essential Functions- Perform aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and insuring conformity with applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of company and regulatory forms, records and reports.
- Work collaboratively with entire flight team to ensure maximum availability of airworthy aircraft and equipment to meet corporate travel demand.
- Assist in the maintenance of ground support equipment, fuel farm and hangar upkeep.
- Assist in the preparation and servicing of company aircraft prior to each departure from the home base airport, including passenger support.
- Receiving aircraft on arrival, assisting passengers and conducting post‑flights.
- On rare occasions, serve as an in‑flight technician/attendant on international trips.
- Oversee maintenance and inspections performed at outside facilities.
- Attend bi‑annual aircraft specific maintenance training at an approved facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safety‑focused work environment.
- Must live or be willing to locate within 1 hour of Melbourne International Airport (MLB)
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 7 years experience with aircraft maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
- Hold a current FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
