• Over 5 years of experience in Power system applications (Generation) including AGC, Load Frequency Control, Load Forecasting, Economic Dispatch, Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, and Operator Training Simulator (OTS)
• Hands‑on expertise with GE Power On Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS/GDC Platform Software, and EMS from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, etc.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows operating environments
• Experience with communication protocols: IEC 60870‑5‑101/104, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
• Programming and scripting experience in C, C++, PERL, SQL, shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files
• Must have experience in installing fixes on live customer systems
• Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills
• Administer and optimize Energy Management System (EMS) through configuration, tuning, and security patching
• Perform technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing services on EMS
• Conduct code review, deployment, testing, and monitoring of break/fix patches and modifications

Responsible for advanced Power Systems Application software development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate project/product commitments. Responsibilities include working with Electric Utilities or ISOs and Transmission System Operators on functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning, and delivery.

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
Master's in Electrical Engineering specialized in Power System Applications (PSA)

6–8 years of experience required.
