Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Configuration Analyst / Sr Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
** This role may be filled at the Principal OR Senior Principal level based on the qualifications listed, below
** In this role, you will support the development and quality conformance of courseware for a 21st century training system. Additionally, this role will serve as the lynchpin to development and sustainment of a courseware configuration management process. This process is needed to allow for concurrent source data and training development that is effective and transparent.

Key Responsibilities:

* Courseware Configuration/effectivity management

* Effective communication (to enable a clean feedback loop to ARTs)

* Responsible for overseeing modifications and requirements development to keep the training materials concurrent with the platform

* Preparation of briefings for management and developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention/problem solving.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment

* Support development of and sustainment of courseware configuration and data management processes

* Support development of and maintenance of a centralized database of courseware configuration datasets

* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Configuration Management objectives. Basic Qualifications (Principal):
* Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 5 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master's degree AND 3 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience.

* Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment. Basic Qualifications (Senior Principal):
* Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 4 year of related professional/military experience.

* Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
