Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Data Displays and Controls (DDC) Architect Engineer/Sr. Principal Data Displays and Controls (DDC) Architect Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

The selected individual will perform as a leader within an interdisciplinary team to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems. The successful DDC Architect will contribute to the overall development of Weapons Integration, including developing functional architectures, analyzing performance, developing and managing requirements and interfaces, and verifying/validating all allocated requirements. You will design, develop, build, DDC solutions in conjunction with key suppliers.

The candidate will be responsible for:
* Support development and integration of piloted aircraft display and processing components

* Lead and/or support development and integration throughout the product lifecycle of design, development, integration and test, flight test requirements verification, and sustainment.

* Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

* Perform MBSE and capturing requirements, interfaces, behaviors, structures and para metrics

* Perform flight and mission engineering activities to ensure continuity between desired operational capabilities and delivered system performance, through the Systems Engineering "V".

* Ensure performance capabilities of employed architectures and solutions are traded against cost and system requirements and assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging systems and capabilities in representative operational environments.

* Performing functional and performance analyses

* Run detailed trade studies

* Provide design assessments and perform verification checks

* Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers including development of supplier statement of work and requirements, review and analyze supplier design data, hardware/software acquisition, test and deliveryt requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test execution.
