We have an opportunity for an Industrial Engineering Technician II to support operations in Melbourne, Florida. In this fast‑paced role, you will provide support to Industrial Engineering, Test Engineering, and Design Engineering. This support includes performing a variety of functions in the development, implementation, and revision of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures. You will have daily interface with Production teams to understand and provide solutions to tactical and strategic production build and test issues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Simple process root cause problem resolution.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions in a manner that provides production personnel with the ability to build high quality products efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and add value to change control.
  • Create, execute, and close Run and Holds.
  • Provide basic technical support and resolve routine problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Follow established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributions are usually limited to task‑related activities.
  • Create and maintain the master route sequences and BOM data in CSI.
  • Assist with interpreting engineer drawings/specs to develop and maintain assembly line work instructions.
  • Assist with reviewing Engineering Change Orders to ensure they are acceptable for production incorporation.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and adaptive response to challenges.
  • Provides general operator support.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
  • Gain a basic understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Gain knowledge by interfacing with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs which improve manufacturability.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
  • Experience writing technical documents and work instructions.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
