Staff Engineer Electrical (Melbourne, FL).

• Generally frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.

• Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.
• Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
• Work under general supervision.

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline AND 8 years of related experience.
• Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance and any required program access within a reasonable period.
• Electronics engineering experience.
• Experience in system- or platform-level roles (cosite/hosted-systems integration preferred).

• Deep expertise in RF, EMC/EMI and cosite interference mitigation—design and test experience resolving inter-system desense, isolation, filtering, shielding and antenna placement trade-offs.
• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to prioritize disparate tasks.
