The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable solving real‑world hardware issues in the lab while balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, analyze, and test electronic systems, subsystems, and CCAs
- Own end‑to‑end CCA development to include schematic capture, bring‑up, debug, validation, and delivery
- Troubleshoot hardware and system‑level issues and implement corrective design improvements
- Interpret customer requirements and develop manufacturable, cost‑effective hardware solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and procurement teams to support fabrication and production readiness
- Perform lab testing and validation using oscilloscopes, DAQ equipment, thermal testing, and related tools
- Support PCB fabrication, component selection, alternate part qualification, and CM/vendor technical questions
- Create clear documentation, rework instructions, test reports, and technical updates
- Support design reviews and communicate technical tradeoffs including SWaP‑C considerations
- Experience personally owning CCA designs from design through production
- Strong experience with Cadence schematic capture and ability to navigate Allegro
- Hands‑on board bring‑up, troubleshooting, and debug experience
- Experience with high‑speed digital design including processors, FPGAs, MCUs, DDR memory, flash, and EEPROM
- Familiarity with interfaces such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, LVDS, HDMI, Display Port, and serial protocols
- Experience with point‑of‑load power design including SMPS and linear regulators
- Circuit simulation experience using SPICE or similar tools
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware versus firmware/software related issues
- Experience writing technician rework instructions and supporting manufacturing
- Allegro PCB layout and drawing experience
- VHDL or Verilog exposure
- Mentoring or technical leadership experience
- Collaborative and people‑first culture
- Opportunity to support cutting‑edge aerospace and defense programs
- Career growth with a global workforce solutions leader
- Team‑oriented environment focused on innovation, partnership, and accountability
