Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting advanced military, avionics, and space-based systems. This opportunity involves working on mission-critical hardware programs where precision, reliability, and compliance are essential.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and ECAD engineering teams to design and develop complex PCB assemblies used across airborne, defense, and space applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using Siemens Xpedition CAD tools
  • Develop and release PCB layout packages including fabrication and assembly drawings
  • Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical CAD models for accurate PCB implementation
  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure design integrity
  • Ensure PCB layouts meet IPC Class 3 standards and internal engineering guidelines
  • Support high-reliability military and aerospace hardware development programs
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate on layout optimization for manufacturability and performance
  • Maintain accuracy and documentation throughout the PCB development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of PCB Design experience
  • Strong hands‑on experience with ECAD/PCB layout tools
  • Experience designing PCBs for military, aerospace, avionics, or space applications
  • Knowledge of PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics, and manufacturing standards
  • Familiarity with IPC Class 3 compliance requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced onsite engineering environment
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Siemens Xpedition CAD software
  • Exposure to high‑speed, RF, or multi‑layer PCB design environments
  • Prior experience supporting defense or government programs
  • Understanding of fabrication and assembly documentation processes
