* Lead process improvements focused on yield, throughput, cost reduction, and quality enhancements.
* Troubleshoot production issues related to electronics assemblies and implement corrective actions.
* Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and first article builds.
* Ensure compliance with Aerospace & Defense standards such as IPC and AS9100.
* Work cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, and test engineering teams to drive operational performance.
Essential Skills
* 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
* Experience in Aerospace & Defense or other high-reliability, regulated environments.
* Strong knowledge of PCB/PCBA processes, electronics assembly, and production workflows.
* Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) and quality systems such as AS9100.
* Experience supporting NPI efforts and transitioning products into production.
* Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting capability.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
* Exposure to test processes or integration of electronic systems.
* Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
* Supporting low-to-mid volume, high-mix production.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, engineering validation, and production practices.
