Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Senior Staff Cyber Systems Engineer to join the team of qualified individuals in our Global Surveillance Division. This role is located on site in Melbourne, FL. In this role you will be responsible for Cyber Systems Engineering/Cybersecurity duties throughout Systems Engineering with an emphasis in the Systems Security Engineering discipline. As a Consulting Cyber Systems Engineer, you will provide expert guidance on anti-tamper, cybersecurity, and systems engineering across a range of defense and intelligence programs.

This role requires a subject-matter expert (SME) for the system security design, analysis, and validation of resilient, survivable systems, ensuring compliance with DoD, NIST, and industry-specific anti-tamper methods (DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent). This role partners with customers, program managers, and development teams to embed security-by-design into architecture, requirements, and verification activities. You'll need to rely on the following skills:
* Systems Security Engineering

* Systems Engineering principles and requirements deposition

* Anti-Tamper methodologies

* Attack tree development

* AT evaluation plan development

* Linux/RHEL/Ansible/Python

* Atlassian Suite/SecDevOPS

* Familiarity with ACAS and SCAP scanning, STIG

* Virtual machine and container technology such as Podman

* Advanced knowledge of RMF, DFARS, ITAR and CMMC. Responsibilities will include:
* Demonstrated expertise in large system development, integration, test processes, with a strong emphasis on technical analysis and systems security engineering.

* Proven ability to drive technical initiatives as an individual contributor, managing complex tasks with minimal supervision.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with customers, cross-functional teams, and management.

* Extensive development in Anti-Tamper Systems Engineering.

* Direct involvement with all phases of engineering including concept of operations, testing, integration, and operational execution.

* Direct, develop and mentor a diverse, highly skilled team of Systems Security Engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 14 years of related professional/military experience to include background in cybersecurity, systems engineering and Technology (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). OR a Master's degree AND 12 years of related professional/military experience to include background in cybersecurity, systems engineering and Technology  OR a Ph.D. AND 10 years of related professional/military experience to include background in cybersecurity, systems engineering and Technology  Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

* Must have previous professional / military experience with Systems Security Engineering and Systems Engineering requirements development related to mission processing systems.
