Telco Provisioner
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Telco Provisioner to join our team. The Telco Provisioner will be responsible for working closely with Client's Network Engineers, developing solutions for our government-based customer's needs. A provisioner will be the front line contact for our customer helping them identify their telco needs and teaming with our Client's engineers to develop solutions ensuring that our customers receive seamless and efficient service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications services (Ethernet, IP, SDWAN, MPLS) some telco equipment familiarity, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support provisioning calls to establish telecommunications services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customer and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Communicate with the end user ensuring they know what services are being installed and the process
- Participate in regular calls with customer and internal teams providing status of projects
- Monitor and troubleshoot provisioning issues, ensuring thorough review and confirmation of customers' needs as well as the engineering solution to prevent potential service delays
- Maintain accurate records of provisioning activities and update relevant systems
- Assist in the development and implementation of provisioning processes and best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in telecommunications technology.
- Coordinate and host conference calls with vendors and customer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in telecommunications provisioning or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and internet services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using provisioning and network management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- General understanding of telecom equipment and cabling
