A well-established specialty electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Airfield Systems Estimator for a full‑time, direct hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This role supports complex aviation infrastructure projects, including FAA‑funded airfield electrical systems, NAVAIDs, runway lighting, taxiway lighting, and related airport construction work. The position is ideal for an estimator with specialized aviation electrical experience who enjoys technical estimating, detailed plan review, and collaborative project planning.

- Prepare detailed estimates for airfield systems, NAVAIDs, FAA‑funded electrical construction, and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Review plans, specifications, FAA standards, bid documents, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates.
- Complete quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, material pricing, subcontractor evaluations, and comprehensive bid proposals.
- Identify project risks, scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and cost considerations during the estimating process.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and operations teams from bid development through project turnover.
- Support proposal development, bid strategy, and handoff activities after contract award.
- Salary range: $85,000 to $115,000+ per year, depending on experience.
