• Lead engineering project teams for the development of avionics products.
• Coordinate hardware, software, systems, and firmware scope to meet program commitments.
• Supply project management and technical direction during all program phases, including pursuits, bidding, planning, execution, and sustainment.
• Ensure compliance with Collins Aerospace technical engineering processes.
• Keep cross‑functional development teams on track for schedule and budget commitments.
• Manage large, complex technical projects using schedule and earned‑value management methodologies.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in engineering project leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large development teams.
• Experience managing technical projects, including schedule and earned value management.
• Proven record of meeting program goals and commitments.
• Strong communicator and influencer with the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborative work style with a focus on integrity and results.

• Experience with avionics regulatory and certification requirements such as TSO, MIL‑STD, DO‑160, DO‑254, DO‑178B/C, DO‑297, and ARP‑4754A.

The salary range for this role is $132,400 to $251,600 USD, reflecting experience level and location.
