Responsibilities
- The Electrical Designer shall contribute and support the Power, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, and Systems or Low Voltage Engineering efforts for the firm.
- The ED shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through drafting and design efforts.
- The ED shall execute drafting and design duties as required to ensure quality is always maintained.
- Able to use computer software including Visual (or AGI
32) and Microsoft Office. - Capable of interpreting information set forth in a Basis of Design, field surveys, and code research.
- Performs system calculations.
- Reviews shop drawing submittals, and travels to job sites to perform field verification.
- Minimum of 3 years electrical drafting and design experience at an MEP Engineering firm or A-E firm
- Associate degree in Drafting and Design preferred but not required
- Proficient in REVIT
