What You Will Do *
Perform multi-core analysis aligned with AC‑20‑193 guidance on a multi‑core system.
Develop or execute micro‑benchmarks/benchmarks on the target multi‑core system.
Analyze system performance and undesired behavior caused by hardware or software interference and drive mitigation solutions.
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have *
Experience with multi‑core processor products in safety-critical environments.
Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) experience in safety‑critical environments.
Embedded hardware development and verification experience.
Experience or knowledge of AC‑20‑193 (previously CAST‑32A).
Experience defining hardware interference channels.
Qualifications We Prefer
Embedded system design and verification experience.
Experience analyzing system behavior and performance impacts in multi‑core architectures.
Background developing benchmarks or micro‑benchmarks for embedded systems to test and analyze a multi-core platform.
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
