Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Product Support group. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

In this role you will support analyses including: cost analysis (Development and Operations & Support), Readiness (Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Improvement, Spares forecasting, Fleet Readiness Modeling);
Obsolescence forecasting;
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and spares modeling. Candidate will interface with other functional departments, including Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M, Diminishing Material Shortages (DMS) team, Support Hardware, and supplier design engineers to collect data and strategize/provide solutions. You must possess strong communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Tools is essential.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM and 0 years of experience
• Familiarity with other Product Support disciplines.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance or higher.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

• Experience in Sustainment Modeling, LORA and O&S Cost estimating.
• Systems performance monitoring and analysis.
• Experience with Python programming language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance.
