We run shows for 4 weekends, averaging say 75 hours needed. With tech week hours added let's add another 25 hours. (6pm to 11 Sunday through Thursday)
At 100 hours for the run of a show at $14(Florida minimum wage) would be $1400
Stage Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable stage manager to ensure the smooth
execution of performances, coordinate all aspects of the show from pre-production to the
final performance to provide a seamless show experience.
Must have proficiency in Qlab, cueing tracks, calling set moves, stage fly, special effects and technical elements. Must be comfortable with communication on headset while calling the show.
- Managing cast and crew, including scheduling and show notes.
- Execute paper tech with the Director assigning set moves and transitions.
- Responsible for show reports and incident reports during the run of the show.
- Complete pre-show checklist and oversee fly checks, lift/fight calls.
- Able to problem solve lighting and audio issues during a show.
- Assist with strike and post show breakdown.
- Uphold safety and production standards
Individual contracts vary by show needs and complexity of the production. Range $1,500- $2,500
If hired as a regular resident Stage Manager, a separate salary may be discussed.
Housing may be available if needed.
