Position Summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level
3) in the Melbourne, FL facility to support the Cost Management organization. This position will work on‑site daily. Relocation assistance may be available.

- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis that meet program requirements.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement baseline concepts across multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Establish Work Breakdown Structure, assess and maintain objective performance criteria, and support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
- Maintain budget baseline, conduct funding analysis, perform cost risk analysis and assessment, and produce visibility reports.
- Prepare government cost performance reports and perform review of performance measurement variance analysis.
- Support development and maintenance of budget baselines and cost/schedule integration.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC, and in the preparation and submission of monthly CDRLs such as IPMR.
- Facilitate program monthly rhythm processes, incorporating baseline changes into the EVM system while utilizing Microframe Project Manager (MPM), SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), wInsight, MS Excel/Project/PowerPoint.
- Ability to use financial systems and attain a basic understanding of EVMS principles.
- Develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity.
- Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques.
- Work under general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues for proper management focus.
- Exert influence on peers and internal customers with good interpersonal skills while representing the group on special projects outside the own group.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or industry related fields, OR Master’s degree with 3 years experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
- Ability to work on site daily in Melbourne, FL.
- Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra).
- Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
