Budget Analyst / Mission Resource Advisor
LocationPatrick Space Force Base, Florida (On‑site); minimal travel (0‑20%).
Key Responsibilities- Provide yearly financial execution support to HQ STARCOM S4/6.
- Inform decisions based on technical feasibility as well as financial and program performance.
- Draft and review execution plans, provide financial reports, and process/review purchase requests within DEAMS.
- Provide financial analysis for current‑year and future‑year budgets.
- Brief customers on funds execution, obligations, and expenditures.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on funds execution, obligations, expenditures, and CCaRS reconciliation.
- Support data entry into and analysis of data generated by CCaRS.
- Execute support in accordance with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) protocols and standards.
- Conduct HQ STARCOM funding and programming actions.
- Support HQ STARCOM corporate processes, POM/UFR working groups, and data calls.
- Conduct Future Year Defense Program (FYDP) budget reviews and identify mission requirements.
- Draft, track, and reconcile funding documents (e.g., AF Form 9, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests).
- Travel may be required for limited durations to support customer events.
Required:
- An active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- 5+ years of budget analyst or resource advisor experience at the MAJCOM, wing, or squadron level.
- Familiarity with fiscal resource and processes management tools, including ABIDES, CCaRS, FM Suite, CRIS, DEAMS, and DARQ software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a SCIF.
Desired:
- BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute).
- Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM, or equivalent.
- Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.
- Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis, and recommendations.
- Ability to multi‑task and produce high‑quality products in a high‑tempo, collaborative environment.
- Accustomed to professionally working with internal/external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
- Location:
On‑site at Patrick SFB, FL. - Travel Requirements:

Standard (40 hrs per week).
