POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Specialist, Finance (Investor Relations Analyst) your roles and responsibilities will include:
The Senior Specialist, Finance (Investor Relations Analyst) will play a key role in supporting the company's Investor Relations function before and after the planned Missile Solutions Initial Public Offering (IPO). This is a highly visible position that works closely with executive leadership, finance, communications, and external investors to communicate the company's financial performance and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly earnings presentations, press releases, investor presentations, earnings call scripts, and related communication materials.
- Support the company's IPO readiness and ongoing investor relations activities following the public offering.
- Analyze financial results, market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment.
- Develop financial models and assist with business performance analysis.
- Coordinate investor meetings, analyst calls, conferences, roadshows, and other investor engagement activities.
- Review analyst reports and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Maintain and update investor relations content on the corporate website and other communication platforms.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Communications, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate and consistent messaging.
- Prepare Board of Directors presentation materials and executive-level reports.
- Support the overall investor relations strategy while ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements and financial disclosure regulations.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Specialist, Finance (Investor Relations Analyst) who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Specialist, Finance (Investor Relations Analyst) would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Financial Analysis, or related experience (or 4 years with a graduate degree).
- Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and earnings materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting a publicly traded company.
- Knowledge of SEC regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with IPO preparation or capital markets activities.
- Background in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Experience using Investor Relations software and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
