30 hours per week. Pay: $22.00 - $27.75 USD.
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking who plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities- Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform.
- Open new and close personal deposit accounts.
- Provide consultative advice, educational support, and proactive insights to customers.
- Use TD's systems and tools to acquire and deepen customer relationships.
- Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Process debit/credit card issues, mobile and online banking, and Regulation E transactions.
- Manage self-generated leads, partner or retail referral leads, and campaign leads.
- Conduct customer outreach via outbound calls and SMS, set and host appointments.
- Schedule and prioritise work to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as first point of contact for customer inquiries and walk-in traffic.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and respond to audits, regulators, and compliance requests.
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of customer-facing experience (volunteer, military, education).
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to work scheduled operating hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Preferable teller experience.
- Ability to complete teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
- Strong organisational skills, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills – concise, clear, and consistent.
- Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to schedule, prioritise work and work independently within deadlines.
- Sound judgement and knowledge of bank policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Notary licence preferred.
