Melbourne HQ or Melbourne Operations Center, Florida.

Credit Solutions Associate at Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) will empower members with knowledge and provide options to bring past due accounts current in order to preserve and safeguard the credit union from unnecessary loss.

• Provides solutions to bring past due accounts current, excluding legal and bankrupt accounts, to keep delinquent loans to a minimum; works all loans including consumer, mortgage, and business loans.
• Accepts all inbound phone calls, makes payment arrangements, transfers payments, researches past due loan problems, and sends accurate loan error corrections to the Loan Servicing Department.
• Attempts telephone contact with all past due members (including co-makers) as presented on the predictive dialer.
• Provides members with delinquency solutions such as payment plans, refinance, modification, loan extension, rewrite, short sale, deed-in-lieu, or other local programs.
• Send letters to all members within established department guidelines.
• Ensures all work (phone calls, promises to pay, updates, etc.) is thoroughly documented using correct action and response codes on the day of the action to maintain accurate records.

• 1 to 2 years in a consumer debt collections or sales environment; experience with vehicle and mortgage collections and loss mitigation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency required.

• Starting Salary: $22.18 - $23.48/hour

• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM;
  Saturdays on rotation 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
