APP, Critical Care ICU Nights

Health First is looking for an experienced NP or PA to join our night team in the ICU at Holmes Regional. This isn't just an "admissions" roleyoull be a true clinical partner to our Nocturnal Intensivists, managing high-acuity patients and handling the full scope of critical care.

What the night looks like:

Youll be the frontline for the ICU alongside the Intensivist. This includes managing clinical status changes, responding to in-house emergencies (codes/rapids), and handling ICU admissions. Youll also be responsible for managing downgrades to ensure the unit flows efficiently. Since this is a high-acuity setting, you should be comfortable performing or learning critical care procedures as they come up.

What were looking for:

• Background: You need to be a Florida-licensed (or eligible) APP.

• Experience: Ideally, youve spent time in an ICU or high-acuity environment. We need someone who is comfortable making decisions when things get busy.

• Certifications: National certification (ACNP or PA-C), plus BLS/ACLS.

• The Vibe: Youre someone who likes the autonomy of night shifts but knows how to communicate effectively with the attending and the nursing staff.
