Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working Accounts Receivable and accurately billing patients and third-party payers for medical services rendered.

Duties:

• Prepare and send patient statements
• Review and verify patient insurance information
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims
• Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
• Maintain patient billing records in compliance with regulations

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical billing software
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required/Nice-to-have

Skills:

• 1-2 Years Minimum Medical Billing Experience
• Spine, Orthopedic and/or Pain Management Experience is a plus
• Credit analysis
• Financial concepts
• Accounting
• Out of Network Experience
• Technical accounting knowledge
• Journal entries expertise
