Registered Nurse – Wound Care (WCC/WOCN)
Location:
Melbourne, FL 32901
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours (08:00 – 16:30), Monday – Friday
Start Date:
03/09/2026
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
Licensure & Certification:
Florida RN license or compact license required at time of submission
Required:
BLS, WCC certification
Preferred: WOCN certification
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of wound care experience
EPIC charting experience required
Experience in hospital, trauma level II, and community hospital settings preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
Wound care management including pressure ulcers, venous, neuropathic, and peripheral arterial ulcers
Ostomy care: colostomy, ileostomy, stoma management, ostomy equipment selection
Continence management including catheters, female/male external catheters
G-tube/J-tube care
Wound treatments: alginates, foams, hydrocolloids, enzymatic and autolytic debriding agents, silver products, VAC therapy
Risk assessment and Braden scale assessment
