Position Overview
This is either a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, and a Medical Assistant specializing in Dermatology, located in Melbourne, FL.
Responsibilities – PA/APRN- Diagnosing and treating a variety of dermatological conditions.
- Conducting patient consultations.
- Performing procedures such as biopsies and minor surgeries.
- Educating patients about preventive care and dermatological health.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
- Active involvement in clinical documentation and follow-ups.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions.
- Proficiency in performing dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgeries.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build patient rapport and work collaboratively with team members.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in clinical documentation.
- Ability to stay updated with advancements in dermatology and participate in continued medical education.
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of Florida.
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Previous dermatology experience is required.

Position Summary – Medical AssistantWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior dermatology experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities – Medical Assistant- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists.
- Assist providers with medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Perform suture removal, wound care, and basic lab procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and aftercare instructions.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Handle prior authorizations, prescription refills, and patient callbacks.
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (dermatology experience a plus).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
