Description:

Responsible for providing patient care in a progressive care unit.

Experience with telemetry and cardiology patients is preferred.
Update and maintain patient charts through the required charting system.
Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and monitor their effects.
Perform required procedures according to established protocols.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and care processes.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the nursing leadership.
